What if Judaism holds true and Jesus was a True Prophet of God? Words of men and history can change many things. What if the Messiah was alive today and not two thousand years ago? It makes sense, in my demented mind, that the Messiah would be of more practical use in times of global catastrophe, when all of humanity needs to be motivated into action. It would make sense for the Creator to protect the creation when it is threatened, as a parent to a child. It would make sense that a critical mass of people could want something so badly, they could make it happen.
[Devil's Advocate: Why does Earth, a grain of sand in the Milky Way which in turn is a grain of sand in the Universe, warrant such special attention?]
So, the Messiah is today alive and well. Where in the world would the Messiah be? This is of critical strategic importance. Where would God manifest the Messiah? Would the Messiah be American? I am inclined to think that many Americans wouldn’t believe in a Messiah who wasn’t one of their own. Would the Messiah be born in or around Jerusalem, the Holy Grounds for all three Abrahamic faiths? What about China or India? Each country represents one-fifth of the world’s population, not to mention two of it’s dominant religious concepts (Hindu & Buddha). Would the Messiah be African, born amongst the poorest and most exploited of the planet’s peoples? Would the Messiah live in the midst of constant danger, where death lurks behind every moment? Would the Messiah live in abject poverty, never learning to read or write? Or would the Messiah live in relative comfort, receiving a well-rounded education to become a person of the world?
The only thing I can think of is the Messiah would come from a part of the world which represents peace and good will. But where is that? Canada?
The word ‘canada’ originates from the St. Lawrence Iroquoian language, meaning ‘village’ or ’settlement’. The concept of ‘the Global Village’ can be sourced back to a Canadian, mainly Marshall McLuhan (or P. Wyndham Lewis). Canada is the place where people are free to be where they came from. Canada is all cultures represented in a mosaic of diversity. A person can learn all about the vast and varied cultures of the world without leaving town. Canada brings most of the world’s historic superpowers together. It is both a French and British colony, with a unique & integral relationship with the United States. I don’t think it would be too difficult for modern civilization to accept a Canadian Messiah. It might be the only internationally acceptable option, in terms of geo-politics!
Would the Messiah be a man or a woman? It is an unfortunate truth, but most cultures are still very paternalistic in nature. The Messiah would be clear on the importance, necessity and equality of all life. In the simplest sense, male and female can not exist without each other (in complex life forms!). We are so interdependent as to be one. All the world must hear & listen to the words of the ideas that will change their minds. The Messiah’s voice would be that of a man, otherwise there are some who wouldn’t lend an ear. Sad, but sooth.
What would the Messiah be like, personality wise?

THE REAL MISSION OF JESUS
Jesus as a person was humane and was born from a mother and a father through the eternal principle of LOVE, which is consummated between two people, two living creatures that have all senses open and aware of the presence of the rational faculties, that is hearing, touching, tasting, smelling and seeing. Those are the five senses we all were born with, now the development of those through the inherited blessings, family ancestry, education, race, descent, and good surroundings, make of an individual strong and ready to fight the hostile environment we are put on this earth. “The Divine Principle written by. Rev Sun Myung Moon explains, that the physical man consists of the dual essentialities, flesh-mind (Subject) and flesh-body (object). The flesh-mind enables the flesh-body to multiply and provide protection. The instinct of an animal corresponds to the flesh-mind. In order for the physical man to grow in good health, it must absorb air and light, which are invisible nourishment of a positive nature, while also taking in material elements, which are visible nourishment of a negative nature. All these must perform a perfect action of give and take through the circulation of blood”.
The nature of Jesus although divine was also human because his ancestry gave him the nature we explain before, good give and take action with existence, prayer and communication with God (True Parents of Mankind), by inheriting all those qualities of a godly person, by the way anybody can do the same through the same practices, the principle says that if you do the same thing over and over, you will get the same results like missing one particle of oxygen and two particles of hydrogen, you will always obtain water, clean water.
JESUS AS THE MESSIAH
By the Divine Principles, the word “messiah” in Hebrew means “the anointed one,” especially signifying the king. The Israelites believed the Word of God that He would send a king or Messiah to save them; this was the messianic expectation of the Israelites. In this sense Jesus Christ came as the Messiah, “Christ” meaning “Messiah” in the Hellenic language.
The Messiah must come in order that the purpose of God’s providence of salvation be fulfilled. God’s purpose of creation was to be fulfilled with the establishment of the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth.
Due to the Fall of man, deviation from God’s providence or principle, and earthly hell was brought about instead of the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. That is the reason why the REAL MISSION OF JESUS, was the mission of restoration, bringing mankind back to the Divine Principle (God-True Parents) which demands a perfect give and take action. Consequently, the kingdom of Heaven on earth should have been established by Jesus. He urged people to repent , for the Kingdom of Heaven was at hand (Matt: 4:17)
Imagine if Jesus would have attained this goal? A perfect man united to a perfect woman, would have procreated perfect children, perfect societies, perfect nations, perfect world. Like an atomic reaction of True Love spread through the whole universe. Imagine Jesus children faces candid and humble, leaders of the world, teachers of “Restoration” the new way of inheriting God’s blessing. No wars, no division of classes or economical struggles, the social structure would have been ruled by the Principle which is just and fair. Jesus said, “Unless you turn to God from your sins and become as little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven, therefore anyone who humble himself as this little child, is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven” (Matt: 18:4).
The Principle of Restoration is the Principle of Salvation, if God sent the Messiah two thousand years ago, with the mission of building the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth, then the same particles will get together to bring about another Jesus with the same mission called True Parents, and two particles of Hydrogen plus one particle of Oxygen will always make water.

I like the idea that he would be Canadian. Young Jesus skating on the frozen pond.
